As part of my graduate program, I submitted an article on JDM for possible publication to the Journal of Pediatric Health Care. JPHC is a Nurse ractitioner journal. My goal in writing the article was to teach primary care NPs how to recognize the signs and symptoms and hopefully get kids diagnosed more quickly.

I submitted it last week. It is currently "under reivew" with an editor...so the waiting begins. Keep your fingers crossed!

Well, it's made its way through the editors and I am now working on final revisions. Just got word that it it will appear in print in the Jan/Feb 2011 issue of the Journal of Pediatric Health Care.

My goal in writing it was to educate practitioners and hopefully get at least one kiddo diagnosed more quickly.
