Young Adult/Adult event for those 18 and over who had JM as a child is being held in Chicago Oct 10/11 2009. There will be a educational symposium on Sat. afternoon at the Children's Memorial Research Center including a tour of the research lab of the Cure JM Center of Excellence for JM Research. A panel of medical experts, led by Dr. Lauren Pachman, will present information targeted to JM young adults who have transitioned to their own care. Participants may also be involved in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday Oct. 11 as volunteers, runners, cheerers, virtual runners.
