Hi everyone,
I happened to stumble upon this site and am thorougly impressed by all the useful information that is available. I was diagnosed at age 8, 19 years ago. At that time, there was definitely few resources available, this forum would have been so valuable to my parents. My prednisone level was really just trial and error and diagnosis it self took a while since I was just deemed 'lazy" by familiy/friends. I was on medication from 8-16 with a half year of remission at 12 but I would just like to say that I'm now a healthy and happy 27 year old. Please if you would like any information from me, I would love to share my knowledge and experience.

Hi, Seanny -
Thanks so much for your post. My daughter was dx nearly two years ago, and I don't know where we would be without this forum and all the other support we receive from Cure JM.
It's wonderful to hear that you are doing well now - gives hope to those of us that are still fighting the good fight! : )
Thanks again.
best,
