My name is Vanessa. I found out I had JDM in July of 2004 when I was 6. All of a sudden, I could not walk or even get out of bed. I have been in treatment for 1 year now, and I am strong again. I like to swim, play softball and play dress up. I want to learn how to ride a horse next. I still go to the hospital every few weeks, but the nurses are very nice, so it isn't too bad. I can't wait until I don't have to take any more pills or get any more shots.
