Julia Becker is known to many in the JM community because of "Julia's JDMS Diary", an online account of her JDM journey.
Now, at age 15, Julia has written a wonderful essay about her
experience with JDM, which has been published in the magazine, Teen Ink. This perspective from a patient's point of view is helping to raise awareness about the disease and has opened a window for all of us to better understand what it means to grow up
with JDM. Julia's willingness to share with others, her courage and
determination to overcome JDM and to excel in the face of difficult
challenges makes her a true Cure JM Hero!
