Lori has had dermatomyositis for many years, which has greatly affected her ability to function. Yet, through sheer determination, she has been able to inspire and encourage others through her website and through the writing and recording of her special music. Through the sale of her CDs, she has helped raise awareness about myositis and money for research. Lori is a good listener who is always available for others who need to talk and is always willing to share her knowledge about myositis and the many kinds of medications and treatments she has received.
