Hi! My name is Addie. My Mommy & Daddy noticed my rash in February of 2008 and I was diagnosed in July of 2008. I currently take Prednisolone & Methotrexate. I have my bloodwork done every month. Some days are better then others but I feel much better then I did last Christmas. Sometimes I don't understand why my friends don't have pokes like I do, but Mommy & Daddy keep telling me I am special. I like to spend time with my family, go to church, Elmo, Disney Princesses and the school work Mommy and I do at home. I live on a farm and like to ride in the tractos and combine. Mommy & Daddy bought me a pool that I used all summer. It was fun! I hope that someday there will be a cure for JDM so that no other kids have to go through what we do.
