Donor privacy
The Cure JM Foundation fully respects your privacy and appreciates your trust. We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to any third party without your permission.

Information Collection
For each visitor to our Web site, our Web server does not automatically recognize information regarding the domain or email address. We are only able to see aggregate information regarding the pages which are accessed. This information is used to improve the content of our Web site.

We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, as well as information volunteered by the customer, such as survey information, site registrations, message board participation, and specifically information provided on the patient registry and Team JM registry. The patient registry also allows us to build a database of juvenile myositis patients. This information will be used as part of a demographic survey to determine if there are clusters of children affected by JM in the same geographic area. It will also allow us to determine the average age of disease onset, the most common initial symptoms as well as the percentage of children with JM by gender. The information you provide will be used exclusively for research, and will not be shared with any other organization or business not connected with this research.
