What is one lesson that you have learned about life, as a result of your child being diagnosed and treated for JM?

  • God will never ask more of us than we, with His help, cannot handle.

  • Be thankful for all of the moments we are able to share with our children/grandchildren and families. It is truly a blessing!

  • I've learned that there are things I simply cannot control, and that much of this is not up to me, nor is it a result of anything our family has done or not done. I've learned to simply trust that He will heal [our child].

  • Trust your instinct you know your child the best.

  • I've learned that the world is filled with love, compassion and generosity.

  • Trust your gut and be persistent! And wow, we just don't sweat the small stuff anymore!

  • The life lesson I learned is that every day with Mackenzie is a gift.
