Mary Stepp Mary Stepp lives in Mansfield, Texas. Her granddaughter, Madeleine, was diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis in February 2004. She has been employed, for fifteen years, as an outside sales representative for a well known Dance and Activewear Company. Her position gives her some flexibility to attend doctor visits, give support and discuss her granddaughter's healthcare. She is a five year Breast Cancer survivor, so she understands what it means to have a strong family and medical support system. She is married, and her husband Wade is retired from Dallas Independent School District. He was a Principal at the elementary level. Her hobby in life is spoiling and taking care of her three grandchildren. They hold a very special place in her heart. Madeleine is 6, William is 12 and Andrew is 17. In their efforts to make Madeleine's everyday complex activities as normal as possible, the entire family has become an efficient team. |
